John Burt Foster just published Transnational Tolstoy: Between the West and the World. He is also in the midst of his third three-year term on the Executive Board of the International Comparative Literature Association, with 4500 members worldwide, and will be travelling to Beijing in September for an ICLA conference held in conjunction with an international conference of sinologists.
