Ashley Gaddy is a second-year doctoral student in Cultural Studies. Ashley received her Bachelors from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, majoring in Communication Studies; she then received her Masters from the same institution in Liberal Studies where she wrote her thesis titled "A Needed Understanding: Bridging the Gap between African American Residents in Wilmington, North Carolina". Ashley works at George Mason as a Resident Director in Housing and Residence Life. She also teaches in the Center of Academic Advising, Retention, and Transitions teaching UNI 300: Peer Leadership for Resident Advisors and UNI 100: Introduction to Mason
