Elizabeth is a doctoral student in Cultural Studies. Elizabeth received her Bachelor of Arts from Monmouth University. She holds a Masters degree in Business from Webster University, a Master of Arts in National Security Affairs-Latin American Studies from the Naval Postgraduate School, a Master of Arts in National Security Affairs-Strategy and Policy from the Naval War College, and a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies-Women and Gender from George Mason University. Elizabeth’s previous research focused on Latinix transgender/gender non-conformance, asylum, vulnerability and resistance to deportation. She has also examined U.S. security state surveillance and the manufacturing and disciplining of gender deviance. Elizabeth is currently teaching Gender, Sexuality and Human Rights at George Mason University.
