The program is pleased to announce that CS alumna Elaine Cardenas has been elected as the new Hays County clerk, in Texas. According to the results of the 2018 midterm elections, democrat Elaine Cardenas is the new Hays County clerk after winning over 53% of the vote. Her challenger, Liz Gonzalez served two terms as county clerk.
Elaine Cardenas is a retired social policy researcher and worked as an executive at research firms and think tanks for more than 30 years. Congratulations Elaine!!!
