Alumni Spotlight: Tai Neilson's Recent Article in tripleC: Communication, Capitalism & Critique

The program extends its congratulations to Dr. Tai Neilson (Cultural Studies, 2017). His article "Unions in Digital Labour Studies:A Review of Information Society and Marxist Autonomist Approaches" has been published in the latest issue of tripleC: Communication, Capitalism & Critique Vol 16, No.2 (2018)

tripleC: Communication, Capitalism & Critique is an open access journal focused on the critical study of capitalism and communication. The journal focuses on critical information society studies and critical studies of the roles of media, digital media, the Internet, information, communication and culture in society.

Dr Tai Neilson is a lecturer in Media in the Department of Media, Music, Communication and Cultural Studies. His areas of expertise include the political economy of digital media and critical cultural theory. Dr Neilson has published work on journalism, digital media and intellectual property in Journalism, Fast Capitalism, and Global Media Journal. His current research focuses on the reorganisation of journalists' labour through the use of digital media.
