Faculty Spotlight: Roger Lancaster publishes article on Judith Butler's thoughts on COVID-19 pandemic

Cultural Studies faculty member Roger N. Lancaster has recently published an article on nonsite.org on renowned American philosopher Judith Butler's response to the social crisis in the wake of the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic in the US.

According to Lancaster, Butler's turn to a markedly anti-capitalist language should not to be confused with an analysis rooted in matters of class and political economy.
