Congrats to our own Akina Candy, who is off to a great start in 2025! She recently defended her dissertation focusing on the power of personal stories in Black women's health care navigation in the U.S, and was also selected as an Outstanding Graduate Student Honoree for Winter 2024. We'd like to extend our congratulations to Akina and wish her the best in 2025.
