Cultural Studies doctoral candidate Marielle Barrow will present as one of "ten young innovators" at the annual meeting of the Inter-American Development Bank in Bahia, Brazil, March 27-30, 2014. Her presentation derives from her dissertation research. Marielle chairs the nonprofit organization that produces Caribbean InTransit, an open access arts journal. Her NGO will have staged three arts festivals between Washington, DC, and the Caribbean by the end of the year.
