Young Scholars and Activists Initiative Fellowship
Cultural Studies
The Young Scholars and Activists Initiative of the Working Class Studies Association began in 2014. Its intent is to support and encourage scholars, activists, and organizers early in their careers whose work has the potential for advancing Working-Class Studies as a field.
Early career status is defined as being a graduate student, in the first year or two of a post-graduation academic job, or in the first year or two of a job as an activist or organizer.
Awardees will be chosen each year from among those whose proposals are accepted for presentation at the Working Class Studies Association conference.
