Please join us for the final speaker in this semester’s Colloquium series on Thursday, November 7, at 4:30 pm on Zoom. At our final event, we are very pleased to welcome Dr. Victor Pickard from the Annenberg School of Communication at the University of Pennsylvania. A leading scholar of media and journalism, Dr. Pickard's research examines the history and political economy of media institutions, media activism, and the politics and normative foundations of media policy. His Zoom talk at the Colloquium will be titled Taking Journalism out of the Market: The History and Future of Capitalist Media. The Cultural Studies Colloquium is free and open to all members of the Mason community.
