Dr. Warren is a Professor of English Language and Literature at the University of Chicago, and author of several books on African American literature, Jim Crow, and black intellectual history. On the recording, he discusses his new book with Adolph Reed Jr., which incorporates historical, contemporary, and literary perspectives on Black cultural criticism to explore the full portrait of racial injustice and inequality in America.
