Sangeeta Ray is Professor of English at University of Maryland and author of Gayatri Spivak: In Other Words (2009) and En-gendering India: Women and Nation in Colonial and Post-Colonial Narratives(2000). With Henry Schwartz, she is also co-editor of the 2004 Blackwell volume Companion to Post-Colonial Studies.
