As a doctoral student in Cultural Studies, Amirhossein’s research interests look at continental philosophy, aesthetics of politics and culture industry, phenomenology and embodiment, aesthetics and critical theory, materiality and praxis of contemporary design and avant-garde fashion. Amirhossein has a BA and MA in English language and literature and the working title for his MA dissertation was “To The Eyes: A Merleau-Pontian Aesthetic Experience in John Berger’s Painter of Our Time”.
